Where a regular flower box stands on the ground or hangs loosely from the fence, the GreenUp uses the balcony railing itself as a support point. Thanks to the clever weight distribution, the inside rests firmly against the bars, while the outside "floats" over the edge of your balcony. No. The GreenUp requires vertical bars to be placed through. With a glass balustrade or a completely solid balcony edge, there is no passage, meaning the planter cannot be attached in the intended way.
No. You simply place the planter through and against the bars of your railing – without drilling, screwing, or tools. Do you want to move it or remove it later? You can do that just as easily, without leaving any marks.
Yes. The inside of the planter pulls the weight inwards and rests firmly against the fence, ensuring the GreenUp remains rock-solid even in windy conditions. If you fill it with soil and plants, it will only become more stable.
