These purple 'Ruby Giant' crocuses (50 bulbs) provide a generous, warm purple spring bloom on your balcony. One of the earliest and most reliable crocuses: it naturalizes easily and comes back stronger every year. The flowers open in February–March and attract the first bees. Plant the hardy bulbs in the autumn in a container in a sunny spot. With 50 bulbs, you can effortlessly fill several pots for a full purple carpet.

Do these crocuses come back every year?

Yes, these crocuses naturalize: they come back every year and naturally become fuller.

Are these crocuses suitable for a balcony in a pot?

Yes, these crocuses do well in a pot or container. Plant them close together — but not touching — for a full flowering effect.

How deep should I plant the bulbs?

Plant crocus bulbs about 5–8 cm deep and 3–5 cm apart, with the point facing upwards. In a pot, you can place them close together for a full carpet of flowers.
